PIMAM TRAINING: STRENGTHENING OUR FIGHT AGAINST MALNUTRITION

We visited the ongoing Philippine Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (PIMAM) Training being conducted from September 14 to 16 at Peninsula de Bataan Resort for our Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and health workers.

Led by our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Warren Valencia, the training aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of our frontline health workers in preventing, identifying, and managing acute malnutrition in our communities.

This initiative is made possible through our partnership with the Provincial DOH Office of Bataan and the Provincial Health Office, as we continue working together to promote better nutrition and a healthier Hermosa.
