BPTCFI Conducts a Successful Historical Mock Tour
The Bataan Peninsula Tourism Council Foundation Inc., (BPTCFI) under the leadership of Ms. Isabel Garcia, Chairperson, and Ms. Vicky Garcia, Adviser, conducted a successful dry run for Historical Tour at Mt. Samat National Shrine on June 26, 2023. This event brought together the pillars of the tourism industry of Bataan from the provincial to municipal level through Ms. Alicia D. Pizarro, Provincial Tourism Officer together with the wife of the Mayors from various towns of Bataan, Ms. Raquel Garcia from the City of Balanga, Ms. Michelle Santos from Dinalupihan, Ms. Ann Lorraine Inton from Hermosa, Ms. Pia Pascual from Orani, Ms. Arlene Acuzar from Samal, Ms. Christine Tagle from Abucay, Ms. Grace David from Limay, and Ms. Marife Andal Concepcion from Mariveles. The Tourism Officers and Tourism Coordinators of the different LGUs and several tour guides also joined the tour.
The primary objective of this dry-run was to prepare for an upcoming Educational Tour targeting high school students throughout the province. The goal of the tour is to cultivate a deeper sense of nationalism, historical appreciation, and social awareness among the youth. By showcasing the rich history and vibrant culture of Bataan, the organizers aim to instill a sense of pride and love for their province in the hearts of the young generation.
