HERMOSA, Bataan – Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton of this first-class municipality joined officials of the De Guzman Group in the blessing and formal opening of the latest branch of Jollibee located along the highway in Barangay Palihan called
“Jollibee Hermosa Highway” this morning.
Other visitors who joined the historic event were from the Bankers Club of Bataan, officials from De Guzman Group, Jollibee North Luzon Group, Hermosa SB members, the local press and other known businessmen in the province.
With this new branch, Jollibee already has 10 store branches: five (5) in Balanga City, one each (1) in the towns of Dinalupihan, Mariveles, Orani, Orion and Hermosa.
The branches of Jollibee here in Bataan are under the Kathea G Foods Corporation, a subsidiary of the De Guzman Group of Companies, the chairman of which is Consul Eduardo “Don Eddie” De Guzman, a native of Samal, this province. Don Eddie’s whole family and close relatives were also present in the event.
“For 26 years, Jollibee has been a part of Bataeños’ everyday life. Hermosa’s branch is the biggest branch of Jollibee so far in terms of De Guzman Group. We spent P50 million for this branch,” De Guzman said.
Jollibee branches here in Bataan employ more than 2,000 employees.
